Awards Generous Grant
The PNC Arts Council received a $58,140.00 grant through the Building for the Arts program. Giving the arts a stronger presence in Mississippi communities is an important mission, and one of the goals of the Building for the Arts program is to repair, renovate or expand existing facilities for year-round arts programming in communities throughout the state.
The grant will support renovation efforts of the Ellis. PNC Arts Council Executive Director Sharon Deweese noted, "The renovation is an important project. The new Performing Arts Theatre will serve our community for generations, and will represent Mississippi and Neshoba County well. We are excited and very grateful to the Mississippi Arts Commission for their support."
